Fast Forward Therapy is offering several opportunities for children during the summer.
Social Skills: We will be running our social skills groups as usual on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 8 PM
We will also be going on bi-weekiy outings to places such as Cosi and the zoo
Job Training: We will be running a job training program for kids two mornings a week, from 10 AM to 2 PM. This program involves the kids completing a job skills curriculum as well as going into the community and getting job experience.
Go Higher! Summer Program: This program is open to children both on and off the spectrum. We encourage our children on the spectrum to integrate with neuro-typical children, and our summer program is a great opportunity for that. This program runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. We are placing a heavy emphasis on social skills. This summer program is a safe time and place for children on the spectrum to interact with their peers and have a gentle guiding hand to assist them when they veer from appropriateness. The program involves daily group and individual activities as well as occasional outings.
If you would like to have your child in the summer program five days per week, they can be involved in the job training and Go Higher! program. This will create a five day program for the full ten weeks.
As with our other programs, still contact us if you cannot afford to pay. We will not turn a family away if they cannot afford the following price points.
The Go Higher! Summer Program is $50 per week.
For children who are already enrolled in the social skills group, Go Higher! Summer Program is $10.
The job training group is an additional $10 if a child is already enrolled in the social skills group or the Go Higher! Summer Program. On its own, the job training group is $50 per week.
We have one location in southeast Columbus and another one in northwest Columbus for the summer programs.
